Camping & Fishing
Imrie Park
“A great place to go for a day outing or a weekend. Amazing hiking trails and a bird watching area on the shore of Devil’s Lake. The hiking trails are groomed for cross-country skiing in the winter. Very close to St. Albert and Edmonton without any crowds! I just can’t recommend this place enough.”

Nature Alive Adventures
“All I can say is Wow! Dale & Colleen Kiselyk have created an amazing destination for experiencing the boreal forest. Nature Alive has year-round outdoor adventures like group camping, private camping, bushcraft, canoe excursions, winter trekking, and even wilderness survival training. This is the place to go if you want to experience the real Alberta.”
Klondyke Ferry Campground
“Visiting the Klondyke Ferry Campground was amazing for me! It’s located at the crossing of one of the last remaining ferries operating in Alberta. I realized that traveling the ferry and then visiting the Fort Assiniboine Sandhills Provincial Park was one of those Alberta experiences that only insiders know about. Plus, it’s a great spot for launching jet boat excursions and fishing on the historic Athabasca river. The hiking and biking trails were excellent too.”

Woodlands RV Park and River Marina
“A river marina! Seriously! It’s the only one in Western Canada. Alan O’Brien (the owner) took me on a jet boat excursion up the Athabasca River and I’ve got to say it was one of the top adventures of my life (and I’m not a spring chicken anymore). The campground was amazing too. Alberta adventures just don’t get any more real than this! I’m hooked and I’m going back.”
Country Comfort Cabins & RV
“What a beautiful hidden gem in the heart of Barrhead County! Between pads for RVs, sites for tents, and on site cabins (including one transported from Edmonton!), I had a hard time deciding how to stay there! As a mom of two, I can confirm the kids won't be asking for their devices while you're there!”

Deep Creek Camping & Events
“What originally drew me out here was the group camping - I'm one of six families that loves to explore different campgrounds about an hour outside the city. Deep Creek has a great mix of space for RVs, tents, group camping, as well as beautiful single-room cabins for a romantic getaway or a little solo retreat! Between that and the trails running right beside the Pembina River, you're guaranteed a great time!”
